Dr. Chris Hildebrandt grew up in Calgary loving hockey, mountain biking and snowboarding. Like anyone who loves any of these sports, Chris had injuries to his knees, back and he’d had a few concussions. When faced with an awful choice of either no more activity or knee surgery, he found a chiropractor that was able to push his surgery date and allow him to at least finish the winter season
.
Chris believes in a collaborative and a multi-discipline approach. He blends a combination of chiropractic manipulation, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy and ART to develop a treatment plan that will enable his patients to return to the level of activity that they desire. Dr. Chris offers concussion baseline testing and concussion treatment in addition to mobile chiropractic services.
He believes in these treatments. Chris has been where you are. Sore neck and back, injured knees, all of it. He remains active in sport. He is also an accomplished glider pilot and loves hanging with his family and friends in Invermere, BC whenever possible.
Then Chris Hildebrandt became a doctor of Chiropractic.
Valuing his experience with that chiropractor, Chris was inspired and therefor received a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary he moved to Portland, Oregon where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Chiropractic studies at the University of Western States (UWS). Through additional studies he also achieved a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine from UWS. The Sports Medicine program provided the opportunity to work extensively with athletes of all ages in a variety of sports.
Dr. Chris Hildebrandt truly cares about providing his patients with the highest quality of care which will lead to health and performance improvements and to a higher quality of life. To achieve these objectives, he continues to develop his professional skills. He has received further training through the Motion Palpation Institute as well as Complete Concussion Management (CCMI), and is certified in the Active Release Technique (ART)
